Battletoads for random encounters. It gets ridiculous when half of the enemies are crushing resistant since I'm two-handing crushing.

For leveling (Random Encounters, etc.), right now I'm sticking with Battletoads. It's the highest I can manage without there being a chance of dying. Normal for clearing Arenas, mostly. Otherwise, it just depends on what difficulty is most efficient.

Normal for quick play, and am slowly working down the list to increase the 'passed' difficulty level on each of the arena levels I've cleared.

Biggest PFUDOR hack-off I have is critters with jack for hit points that just won't die...

DIE! (SMASH!) DIE! (SMASH!) DIE! (SMASH!) DIE! (CROAK!)

Wait a minute I DIED! BOGUS! (I know it's my fault for not paying attention, but I'm still not happy about it...)

I can probably move up a tier soonish because the random encounters feel almost too easy and more often than not I'm only facing 5-6 monsters. I just get horrible RNG on IWBTH and end up facing 10 every time so I wanna wait until I'm a bit more confident in my stuff.
