I'm just wondering how a maxed 2H/light compares to 2H of other styles. It seems like the plate PMI route isn't that good.

Shade is good for 2H, however, an ethereal 2H weapon is necessary. Otherwise, the high burden of 2H weapon will reduce your evade by a lot. The problem is that a ethereal 2H weapon with good roll is too rare.

With leather, 2H is still alright. At least the player won't die easily.
With plate, one-shoted come very often due to its slow killing speed and weak resist.
With power, normal attack is also deathly.......
Using a mace do not make thing better because it kill too slow and the monsters will wake up and use skill as the same time.

If I have a fully forge gear I may have a different opinion.

Forged heavy doesn't make it that much better, because PMI just doesn't cut it anymore. Your statements pretty much sums it up.

Mace is not work at higher level. At my level, the damage infected on the main target of mace is even lower than the bleeding damage of longsword.
Longsword and estoc are both working well depended on the situation.

I don't feel that's the case at all. I was using a demonic estoc for a long time with good results. It drops by evade by about 6%. When using a full fleet/SD set, its not that terrible.

Well, my shade set is much worse than your (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) .
You cannot really use your top class forged shade to compare with others.
