The only way to make the game more fair is to kill all of the bots. However, it is not possible.

As long as bots exist, credits gaining rate do not really matter. It is because bots always earn x10 credit and drops than human players.

I think 10B have some way to find out bots. And should have a suspected list. However, he may not have sufficient evidences to ban them.

A hath/GP sink will benefit H@H, whereas a credit sink will hurt them

For bots, I mean the (semi) automation program. Perhaps they cannot be fully auto due to the pony (in fact I doubt it). It is still rather possible to allow a single person to monitor 10+ bots at the same time.
And bots are responsible to the nerfing on credits gain and drop quality.

The nearest example is 10B know the overall ratio of Mag:Exq is 1:5. However, what the ratio for you guys? Similar? much lower? You know it.

The inherent problem is that a lot of the hardcore players are also H@Her. You nerfed the rich's gameplay too much, and the H@H will be pissed. 10B simply can't go around killing off the hands that feed. that's like the universal rule (which I think more people follow than even the Golden Rules).

Sure, many of the riches are professional players (apart from the paid player definition), but I'm pretty sure that they can live with buying an extra 5 bindings to fully forge their weapons anyways. If they have the resources to buy 100 bindings of slaugther/destructions to fully forge their weapons sooner or later, why in the world did they need the binding-free forgings anyway?
A player below Level 300 would have to be really lucky to get a legendary weapon by any means, even if it's a lousy one really.

Pretty sure H@H'ers don't care that much about repair costs. What we care about is the value of hath.

My thoughts exactly. We would've cared if it were as oppressive as the one during the patching day, but not so much anymore. H@H'ers would be concerned about the value of hath more because, they have to pay just to host these, either the electric bills or the server hosting invoices; basically, these Haths are mass produced for real money, so naturally they can't be exchanged for credits so cheaply really.

Lucky or not, this game doesn't have PVP. Otherwise, people will be more obsess with high end gears. Pretty sure real money trading and credits mining bots will comes like plague. If real moneys involve, those puny ponies wont able to do much.

Tenb has tried to deal with credits sink with his way, we should at least give he sometime to see if the problem solved.

Not ask he to do this to do that without data\evidence\or even a little time to see if current way fails.

For example, If after 1-3 month the market becomes stable and auction price reduces,than what's the point of botting is popular and ruinning market?

imo, the new salvage system really hurts the low lvl players (ie 0 to 300lvl)

I hope you realize how Noob friendly HV has become over the years.
When I was new i had no clue how the fuck i am supposed to that 15 Rounds Arena with a MBP at the end... on Normal. (yeah heavy Armor was death Sentence back then (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )
And tough choice was I i buy that Evade Silk for 3000 Credits or the slightly better one for 7000 Credits.

No Monster lab, no Forge, no cheap Credit gains, only a few Arenas, Grindfest will give you only 2000 Credits a day, limit to 10 IW's/day. No IWBTH or PFUDOR for easy level up.
Oh and when hito did all Arenas and RoB on the highest Setting everyone came in an patted his shoulder because it was indeed an epic deed. Now everyone can do that.
