If you want to criticize, at least apply reason.
imo, the new salvage system really hurts the low lvl players (ie 0 to 300lvl) which further widen the gap between the players. also, it takes away a bit of fun & chance for gambling for HG mats from salvaging higher pxp Exquisite.
in the current new system, players don't have the options of salvaging the "rare" higher pxp Exquisite for HG mats then sell them for credits which is a substantial amount of income for <300lvl players. <300lvl players just don't hv the ability or training to get Exq regularly. Mag+ drops are pretty much non-existence for them. now most of their exquisite are only Bazaar material for very little credits, because you can't sell most of them in WTB & salvaging will have 0% chance in HG mats.
i can't speak for others, but i like to think that i'm somewhat established, probably less so than many others. however, i can do TT +SG arenas @PF for gears then sell them in WTS/auction. if not, my small group of monsters in Monster lab can bring binding + mats. if not, i can grind fast enough & generate decent amount of credits/drops for myself. if not, i can start selling some equipment that i rarely use. sure, i do sell HG mats for credits too, but in comparison to when i'm <300, it makes up a lot less of my income. in fact, the last time i've sold any HG mats is a month ago (2014-05-12).
edit: i know it's easy to criticize than offering suggestions, so I suggest a combination of the current, initial 0.80 & 0.79 salvage system. essentially, rolling chances with only 3 possible outcome, crit fail/success/crit with 15-30%/70%/15-30%.
<Average/ <275pxp = scraps/scraps/scraps, ie 100% scraps
Superior (pxp276-315?) = scraps/LG/MG
Exquisite (pxp~313-338) = LG/MG/HG
Magnificent (pxp332-348) = MG/HG/HG
Legendary+ (pxp~339+?) = HG/HG/HG, ie 100% HG.
