QUOTE(Owyn @ Jun 9 2014, 00:21) playing PFUDOR mage is just annoying, you have to debuff the hell out of monsters before actually hitting, takes time and clicking (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) else you can keep up for some time with mana reservation buff, wait... mages also have that thing... ether tap, so we can do longer arenas on PFUDOR too probably, it's just so annoying to actually watch where you click (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Meh, I simply click the spell and press the numeral buttons for spamming spells really, only click on monster slot when I need to aim, I've gotten used to this tactical game already. But yeah, having to ether tap is really annoying, not to mention quite a dangerous endeavor on PFUDOR. This post has been edited by LostLogia4: Jun 8 2014, 18:46

Hmm. Reforging an equip requires you to both unlock it and deequip it from any Set. Only a matter of time before someone decides to sell all in the Bazaar after an Item World run and pawns off their Peerless X Y of Z.

This script should mitigate that somewhat as it filters off mag+ grade equip. Dunno about peerless though. And salvage function is now broken, give or take. Srsly though, dear Adminpony, please let us reforge locked equips again at least... This post has been edited by LostLogia4: Jun 8 2014, 19:26

Seriously though, discontinuing use of "-kun" would be greatly appreciated as it's really annoying.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jun 8 2014, 10:32) -- Naturally, these items can no longer be bought from the Item Shop Bot. So... how do I get rid of my old Monster Edibles entry? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

So, what's with the unbound descriptor next to the durability. I hope that equipment aren't bind on use and that it's only going to be used for AH winnings...

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Jun 9 2014, 02:01) my two cents is that Tenb is trying to make cotton/leather/plate still usable by reducing the durability of rarer armors and raising plain ones'. reducing the number of hard (G's) monsters per round should also be good for this purpose. some things need to be revised, but overall it may be a good chance to try new styles, even if forcefully (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Nah his plan is to make the rich poorer but instead it just makes the rich less rich and the poor completely helpless (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

I thought it was suspicious suddenly getting requests to buy LG & MG from my long dead WTS thread. They seem to have appreciated greatly if the Item Bot is any indication.

Well I'll exercise formality here in this thread from now on at least. Mostly for lotto equips which is bound to winner's account, though that might change for boarder senses in the future for all we know. You think too much (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) BTW, the forge level can be raised relatively easier than before as people can always use crude gear to train and salvage.

Damn, those catalysts are too expensive. You need them for everything, Repairing is an evil tax for playing and I'm forced to salvage what I get...
I have to feed my weapons now too!

QUOTE(Hahhaa @ Jun 9 2014, 02:36) That actually will defeat the purpose of this credit sinking thingy. Rich played can maxed training easily, poor player have to suck it up. How about making durability affected by Difficulty. More newcomer friendly.
And then rich players all flock back to Hellfest. The problem here is that rich players will always have an edge over poor players due to the flexibility money gives them. They can switch styles/farming ground/investment with almost no delay, whereas poor players will be struggling with radical change such as this (Meanwhile, noob players are so confused they don't even bother trying) Frankly 10B should have made it easier to get rich instead so poor players have a chance to catch up with rich players who slip up. Instead he's just closing off all opportunities for poor players to ever catch up. This post has been edited by holy_demon: Jun 8 2014, 19:42

Too expensive for casual players to go hellfest now that you have to do them on PFUDOR to break even no less. This post has been edited by LostLogia4: Jun 8 2014, 19:41

I'm somewhat glad I'm not just starting out as a low level in HV now. The changes that came into place today would probably put me off the game for good - which would also preclude my ever having donated for my star. I really don't think the impact to the new players has been fully thought through. Credit sinks can be implemented to make the rich less rich, but in this case the game just got a lot harder and more restrictive for casuals and low levels.

^Well that's a good thing.
And to go on to the main topic, why are the new drops way more durable than existing drops. I got an (shitty) exquisite today that was way worse than my legendary boots, and it had double the durability...? What is this madness.

Making it easier to get rich will just make the rich players more rich. Know why? The rich players are rich for a reason (more effort?). Whatever change is made, the people who put more effort in will get those rewards. If you want to be rich, why don't you just do what the rich players do?
