You can only buy it from Chinese bakeries here in OZ but they don't put the melon flavour. Still good though, but not the same.

Player monsters (which you face more than 99% of the time) are monsters created by other players and raised in the Monster Lab (wiki). Non-player monsters are all monsters created by Tenboro (like Cocatrice, Manticore, Sperm Whale, Ceiling Alligator, the bosses/schoolgirls/gods...).

Before that change, you could face a whole bunch of "In Memory of Dark Mages" monsters (high PL arthropods and giants, see the bestiary), who are all from the same player (gc00018).

You can check the owner of a monster by scanning it.

Did he all created them right after the change in crystal cost, when upgrades where much cheaper for a little time, like HTTP/308's Kodou Yuki? (Though the bestiary is probably not up to date since it was last updated in may.)

You can certainly face the same kind of monster two rounds in a row or even just skipping a round. There's no forced rotation of monster classes over multiple rounds, it's just that monsters of a given class stick together in the same round. In other words monster classes attack "en masse".

So you can face differently named monsters who belong to the same player in a short round span, even in consecutive rounds.

Well, he also had 69868 Scroll of Swiftness and 45115 Scroll of Shadows in his WTS shop until a few days ago. Those kind of numbers are usually a red flag for botting.
