QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Dec 18 2010, 00:48) I've heard that people die from shoveling snow.
In Maine, it's usually people with heart problems or the elderly who don't have anyone to help them clear the snow. Seeing as it can snow all day for several days, even having to go out and shovel your driveway/walkway can take it's toll on one's body.

I know! D:<
It makes crunchy sounds when you walk on it. I think when it snows on you, it makes your hair wet but I'm not sure. I've been in snow several times in my life and I thought I was going to die from the cold. I'm not used to the cold, just the blazing hot sun. It's raining right now and it's freezing out and I don't have any heat. I have a small heater in my closet but I'm too lazy to go digging for it.

You're having your summer so yeah, it's hot. I already suffered through our summer heat so I'm glad that bullshit is over. I still have my AC in the window. Does your water come out of your faucets warm? That's how it is here in the summer. Even when I have it turned to cold, the water comes out warm all the time. I've heard stories of how pipes freeze up in places where it snows and no water comes out at all. And they have black ice, too. D:

Yes, yes, exactly the same happens here X_x. Even if you turn the water cold, it comes out hot Dx. Making the bath, less refreshing then what it should be =x. And wow, black ice?

It's a thin layer of ice that coats the road and it's really slippery and dangerous. It causes car accidents because they can't see it.

I have I told you all how much I love winter and snow? Ah, it's best time of the year. It brings back so many memories, and it's just so beautiful when everything is covered in a thick layer of fresh, white, fluffy frozen water. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

'Fraid I have to fall on the other side of the snow issue. Ever since my back went out the cold just causes pain and thankfully my neighbor has a plow so I don't have to dig myself out. the ice is still trouble for me because if I fall I need help getting back up. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Mid Spring and the first 2/3 of Fall are my favorite times of the year.

I'm really getting sick of all this rain we've been having. It's supposed to stop tomorrow and thank goodness bcuz that spot on my bedroom ceiling above my TV is starting to get saturated with water again. There's a fucking leak on the roof somewhere and I'm only hoping it doesn't start dripping. Parts of the county are getting flooded, too.
People say S. California doesn't have a change of seasons but we have a change of disasters. Floods, heatwaves, earthquakes, wildfires.
