What's wrong with being easily amused? It just means you have more fun in life :3

It also means an empty amusement and a failure to grasp the more beautiful concepts in life. The type of person who will spend an afternoon giggling at the word "diarrhea" also will never truly appreciate the beauty behind Goya's paintings, nor will they understand the true beauty of the sciences (as demonstrated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heKK95DAKms ). They might like crap like Naruto and Jersey Shore, yet never understand the beautiful intricacies behind real entertainment, like Q.I., or Seinfeld. They might love books/movies, like Twilight, and never understand why people like Alice in Wonderland (the original, not the crappy adaptations). The like explosions, but can't understand the allure of a beautiful sunset. That is what's wrong with the easily amused.

I could play with a piece of string or bits of paper for hours. But I loathe Naruto, Jersey shore, and twilight There's a difference between being easily amused and being retarded.

If everything doesn't amuse you, you're not easily amused. i.e.: It is not so easy to amuse you, as non-amusing things such as a TV show about Italian American douches doing nothing interesting at all doesn't amuse you. Playing with string and bits of paper amuses about everyone - so you could say they amuse easily. Were you amused by things that do not amuse others easily, then you'd be easily amused. Heck, if you were only amused by things like bits of string and paper, you'd be hard to amuse.

Are you kidding me? Those things are awesome. I always carry a piece of string with me in case there's a zombie invasion, and I get bored. I've yet to meet one person (or cat) that cannot be amused by a piece of string.

I don't recall saying anything about being you being a retard. Just that your mental capacity's limited in size and that it makes you more easily amused and prone to posting the same link twice.
