I'm not sure whether I've just lived an easier life than most, or if I've chosen to handle adversity without it affecting my mental stability, Ratio.
I enjoy learning what makes people tick, and part of the process involves walking through a mine field without a metal detector--even havin' to be blindfolded as a youth, which was the one factor I could never get past.
Sometimes being ignorant can be a blessing, and I lived a good portion of life blissfully unaware of all the hate in this world.
But eventually, curiosity has the tendency to kill the defenslessly rendered, easily manipulated cat; so it's not always so good to remain carefree. Happiness often seeps away with this realization, but there are other forms of pleasure, still...
Raised in subtly chaotic environments, we learn a little faster, due to our hastened maturity. We learn early and often to utilize superior transgressional understanding of humans, in order to become coy, so we'll survive out in the field.
Philosophically, I'm placed somewhere inbetween, having a well-rounded stability I surely take for granted. My life has revolved around one unique situation after another, and so I'm not the most relatable guy on the planet, while still cooperative and understanding of the general public.
My life is one out of a million, but so might be yours. Were we to swap lives, there would still not be a hairbreath's difference between us, except for our understanding.

I guess I can somewhat know what you're getting at. Past the quibbling, past the quarreling, hail to you then for keeping your rationality and temperament in check. I'd more or less say.... your life is one in 50 million. Many of us can hardly keep our cool and maintain our personas when spur of the moment arise. Why is this? Maybe it's because we overly rely on aggression for our stressors.

Respectable qualities are often such that we may not fully understand them, but we ardently desire to adopt them, when our inate impulse is more often than not to refutely deny or reject the unknown. Overriding our nature is not that simple, unless the mind chemically adapts to find instinctive purpose to let go of worry, without foregoing rationalism--which is just one prime example of the peculiar traits I've embodied over time. Practice takes absolutely no presidence in learning to experience comfort of this level; it is magically attained, for all I know, really. You become who you are, what you're capable of doing and how you're able to express your feelings, simply, yet with the compexity of weather: atmospherically becoming what it is, just because. Many factors encourage it, but how acurate is our range of prediction, always? Phychology is a fascinating wonder, isn't it?

At least California is up to code with our buildings and no one was killed (as far as I know).
