It was funny, though, whenever Sonic'd neg kleenex just for me, as well, in the hopes of "maintaining my dignity" as an affable, yet prickish newcomer. Or maybe he just enjoyed bringing forth his mighty retribution. In my prior instances, this all seemed to've been doled out by him at his own sole discression and solitary volition, yet I was most likely seen as beeing indirectly responsible, albeit never intending such occurances. But what can y'do? I can't imagine I'd've been capable of influencing his whims, whether or not their effect was personally favorable; he's just that type, from what I'm able to insinuate.

Hard to really see someone (for me at least) give negative karma just for the sake of pleasure. There is no personal gain or monetary gain (if you can consider karma as a currency) from instigating a quarrel by negging someone. Maybe there's just a lack of empathy for new comers on his part.

I believe most of the negative I've recieved was validly given. I can humble myself to the extent of even admitting I deserved more, perhaps, so you'll not find me one to fuss over such trivialties, beyond what becomes of my amusement with the system at large.

Let us note that I do now somewhat regret--while at the time, I abidingly celebrated--Sonic's involvement in personal affairs. I'm left feeling cognitively dissonant in my affect, as to the way events conspired, seeing as I wasn't feeling victimized, yet to my aid arose Sonic, bringing supplementary shelter I could've done without, as his dispay was percievably favoritive of the underdog (me, speaking figuratively).

Things escalated out of hand far too quickly--rather than protest my adverary's sudden, unfair persecution, I saw no point or appeal in further questioning what'd already transpired. It would have been honorable, but I felt probably would've come across condescending/meaningless to one or both, were I to to do so. Does any of it matter or influence us today? Is that good or bad, and how come?

Truth be spoken, I have never bore ill will toward the Cap'n--I've never once imued him, either, but I wasn't merely apathetic. I had my kicks for a while, jabbing at him through forum dialogue (as we all have probably practiced on the web), but he had hard feelings, where I did not.

I assumed he would eventually recognize I had nothin' against him in particular. My outlandish cruelty--made in gest--was never recieved as so.

He'll recieve an apology from me one o' these days, if I ever have the opportunity to settle our reconsiable differences. We rubbed each other the wrong way from the start, but since we both took separate avenues from there on, I never knew if I was making a believably imitative impression or not.

He'd clue me in on how notably brazen I came across, but just as I'd try to respond without the use of a funny asshole internet persona, Sonic--helpful as he intended to be--always came along to mince our tango, turning a jovially enjoyable pass-time into an overbearingly serious non-disputable reprimand against his free action, which should've gone unmittigated.

Now we can't even repeat that travesty, since all the necessary variables have been removed (beyond those who could use a good neg-bombing). It was handy, in order to sift out shitheads that just like bitching from others, as a simple unannonymous neg would redirect their entire campaign. Many newcomers totally went south after accruing a few red numbers, and we had a richer turn-out cast or regulars that way! People need to be able to hold on to their shit sometimes, and if they fall apart so easily, then who needs 'em bitchin' up our fair site?

I personally found it fun to be on the recieving end of a neg, dispite being unable to reciprocate, unaided--and that sent a valuable message when you're obviously new and someone with notability saw fit to notify you that you've overstepped your bounds for someone in your posision, and unless you can articulate yourself well through speech (many try, but can't...persitant little PMin' buggers), you do not measure up to influencial society's standards and must bear the negative mark that goes along with this.

Under fair grounds, it would seem a well-founded concept, but the meek and faint of heart do not share this sentiment, and so we are lacking an ideal way of representing representation of one's reputive reputation, if we see it so unbefitting to judge.
