Wait a minute, D^3 was asking how to get to sesame street... Does that mean you 2 were trying to meet up? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Nov 12 2009, 22:43) You know what really sucks? When I tell someone in a karma comment to get ready for my nice big wad of karma and then that fucking exhaustion kicks in and I only give them 700 or 800 +K. It doesn't happen often, but it happens. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Sounds kinda like some form of ED to me.

And what about some Karma Exhaustion reduction training. It would be nice [If it will not cost hundreds of thousands credits of course]. Now I imbued one of ppl here and got 48% reduction and I even waited 4 days for it since last imbuement. Strange (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You know what really sucks? Is when Cyriel thinks he's being "witty".

Oi, Sesame St. was a good time when I was a tiny thing. Except Elmo. Even then I had issues with the little punk. Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch, now...

One time, my friend and I were walking through a nearby canyon and next to a bush we saw something that looked like rotted carpet. I asked him what that was and he said, "Grover." I was like (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I never did care for kids shows as a youngin. I grew up watching things like Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Beavis and Butthead, for the most part of my childhood.

I remember not being allowed to watch any of those; my parents were disgusted by how weird they were. They thought such shows would only have a retarded influence. I can say for sure, that shit looks stupid to me, now, but way back then, I probably would've found it overly hysterical...

Beavis & Butthead is definitely retarded. Ren & Stimpy was always my favorite cartoon growing up. Unfortunately, after I saw how horrible John Kricfalusi had made the later incarnations of the show. I kind of lost my love for it. Rocko's Modern Life is just awesome. Even to this date I still love it.

Beavis & Butthead kind of appealed to an older audience. There are bound to be a few things kids like about it, but I think I remember watching it before, and being bored when it was all just "stoner humor"—them just bullshitting, while they comment on music videos for half the show. But there were many great cartoons back then for kids, where even the adults had a few jokes put in, just for them, and the creators were careful to make sure it blew right over the kids' heads. I watch some of those now, and can't believe it. Those were the days, where they took so many creative liberties, and adults understood an entirely different "double-speak" kind of message.

Jesus Christ, Hemingway. You'd think spending your time posting in spamhaus threads that consist of mostly incomplete sentences posts, that you could just summarize your thoughts into something that isn't a chore to read?
