I am one who write offensive spammy spam posts everywhere and you seem to still give me +K. Am I to understand that there is exceptions to these rules, you have plans to neg me if I so happen to break said rules, or are you basically blowing smoke up all of our asses on this one... and if so, can I be the first to have my ass blown into?

Rob, you amuse me, and for that I'm willing to forgive your spamming of the forums. Maybe others can neg you for that, but I have no plans on it. I'm not obligated to neg people who inevitably get posted in the thread; just the ones I feel deserve it.

If it's just about you wanting to hand them over to me, be my guest. Make my day. However, I feel that the way you end up justifying it to everyone around you, when you publicly induce said neg-bombing upon me, and invite others to do the same, needs to be sorted out from what you claim to be a justified action, just because you felt like it, or any other BS reason, like post farming.

If you're gonna try to make me own up to being your public example, then I at least deserve the right to defend myself. I'd find it quite unreasonable and boorish if you wouldn't allow for such an accommodation. Even one such as I deserve to be shown at least that much respect, wouldn't you agree? It's clear to me—and should be to most others—that this is nothing but your own personal vendetta against me, and not a valid point on your behalf. This much, any thinking man should be able to determine...

I won't flatter you with any further appeal; I don't feel it's necessary to influence your judgment on whether to neg me or not, but I can at least shed some light on the situation for anyone reading who hasn't lost their sense of reason to judge my decent character.

Actually, you are a very minor part in it. You do, however, make a very nice and simple example of the type of tool that deserves red karmals. If I was to start off using a less obvious example, things could break down into arguments about whether a poster deserves red karmals and thus de-rail the thread before it has even gotten started.
It is classical pedagogical theory: Start with obvious examples before moving into complicated ones.
