When you said "functional" I thought you were alluding to the FFVII: Advent Children model with the seven different swords that combined into one.

You're not the only one who has one of those, man - in fact, I have two. I paid $130 for a miniature version (it was only about forty inches long, hilt to tip) and the second I made myself from about $15 of scrap iron in my Career and Tech Studies class... with the teacher's permission, of course.

I'm pretty sure a fully functional Advent Children version does not exist.

EDIT: and what I mean by a FUNCTIONAL blade, is that I could get into a sword fight with this and it wouldn't shatter into a million pieces.

Typically, swords as large as a Buster Sword were not meant for slashing, but for crushing due to the excessive weight of the sword. In fact, the blade doesn't have to be entirely sharp, but in a general wedge shape for it to cleave something. You swing vertically and let gravity do most of the work.
