My fucking damn laptop broke. I have no clue what the fuck happened, but heres what happens when I try to turn it on:

battery only- nothing

battery and ac- battery light is green, but breifly flashes orange

ac only- battery light breifly flashes green

I took it apart to the bare motherboard and saw nothing weird. It's a toshiba satallite L45. Any ideas?

Right now I'm using a machine that barely runs, that I peiced together from 2 broken ones and a box of assorted parts.

Oh and marvin, it might be your motherboard or a short somewhere in it, you cant really see many problems in computers so i suggest you take it to someone who can check it out and do a diagnostics and everything.

I had a similar issue to my satellite, after rmaing it three times (they claimed there was nothing wrong with the notebook,. . . jerks). would probably be best to send it in.
