Rad dislikes the IT crowd, as far as I'm aware, and yet I'm still a fan of the show. I'm also fairly sure he's not a fan of Lucky Star on account of it being drivel (it is drivel, but I somehow still am enamored by it). Don't get me wrong, I take his opinion in high regard, but that doesn't mean I'm a mindless drone.

Though I will take recommendations, I do not let the likes of others to dictate what I should and shouldn't like.

In fact, here's a list of every movie, tv show, game, and anime I can think of that I like and that would make many think less of me for liking:

Kenichi, Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water, School Rumble, Onani Master Kurosawa, Rosen Maiden, Mahoromatic, Princess Bride, Love Hina, Mahoraba, Reboot, Wacky Racers, Dilbert, all disney movies of the 20th century, Donnie Darko, Avatar, Hook, The world Ends with you, Hanamaru Yochien, The Drew Carey Show, Whose Line is it anyway (American and British versions), Bill Nye The Science Guy (I still have the episodes in my computer and watch them occasionally), Freakazoid, The Tick, The Bicentenial Man, Tenchi Muyo, Asterix and obelix, Harry Potter, X-Men Evolution, The Phantom of the Opera, The king and I, The Sound of Music, and many more.

I'm going to assume "and many more" is just a way of masking the name of Mandy Moore and that's why I make the big bucks.

So many anti-vaccine nuts in my area. I've had them approach my at my kid's daycare, at birthday parties, and even at an open house at the school. When they learn that I'm a chemist they get this weird look on their face. I have to calmly tell them I'm not pushing autism juice on their children with my magic mercury serums via syringe, that I work with minerals and do elemental analysis. I'm one of the good ones.

Then when they're not looking I vaccinate children.

Though I'm more of a Koume guy, I basically loved every damn character in that show.

That's the thing about Gainax: Any anime company does a show with cuteness as a main plot device, it's balls (e.g.: K-On). Gainax does it, and I can't stop watching it. They're really good at taking really stupid/lame concepts and turning them into fun, watchable series. I'm pretty sure that if Kyoani, J.C. Staff, Madhouse, Pierrot, Shaft or Bones had done this show, it would turn into Kodomo no Jikan Season 3.

Sadly, no. Though SYD has a new OVA*, which was good enough for me.

Pretty much for the same reason I hate The Big Bang Theory.

Well Big Bang Theory is hamfisted, obvious dribble. The IT crowd I genuinely find quite funny. Though as a Fr. Ted fan, I can't help but warm to the writing.
