And that is why you don't hang out here everyday, joining pony based social networks and generally being a sad individual. Like me. QUOTE(Benjiro @ Jul 9 2011, 10:24) Really? I find some o them more interesting than the people around me IRL...

I still don't get the pony thing, to be honest, but whatever floats your boat. Hell, I don't even know why I stuck with the toad theme. Rob, I'm sure a person like you has no idea what you're really capable of and judging from your persona, your potential has not really been unleashed

Next gen of furries (as well as a resurgence of older ones), I'm calling it right now. QUOTE(Rob Itagaki @ Jul 10 2011, 03:27) Why couldn't you of been the chicken soup for my teenage soul?

A ha ha. Back when I was in 10th grade, I had a note slipped in my lunch box during (presumably) English class. It was probably hella easy to slip in, since I slept in class a lot. The note said something about finding me funny (I was the class clown, albeit an unsocial and untalkative one) and wanted me to call them through the number listed on the note.
If my life were a sitcom, I would have agonized over whether to call or not. I would probably be the genre-savvy character who watches a shitload of television, and my character would probably suspect that a joke was being played on him. Then, in the end, after talking it over with his friends, he would make the call... only for the episode to end with that as the hook to the next episode.
I never called, and never really figured out who it was.
If my life were a movie, I would have looked back onto that day with regret. Maybe if I had tried calling, the resulting events would have changed my life. It would be like that novel "The Wish List" by Eion Colfer, where I keep going back to that one time in my life and thinking, "what if it were different?" With the help of a plucky sidekick, I'd dig up the note (I would have kept it with me, as a memento of my lost teenagehood) and embark on a long journey to find out the answer to the mystery that plagued me for years. In the end, I'd find out that the giver of the note was already married, and heartbroken, I'd return home, only to realize my true love had been with me all the time, and marry my plucky sidekick.
But my life isn't a movie; it's not some fake wishy-washy bullshit. I couldn't really give a damn. Also, I lost the note.
Also, duck for today's lunch. You can't tell me I have it bad when today's lunch is duck.

Also, dick for today's lunch. You can't tell me I have it bad when today's lunch is dick.
I have had quite a few times, in my teen years where I have misunderstood advances, and acted much like sitcom stars. Example 1 (grade 12): Girl: Come by my house for coffee. Me: No thanks, I don't feel like coffee. Anyways, gotta go meet some friends for tea. Example 2 (grade 10): Girl: Let's do this research together, that way we'll be done quicker. I have broadband**. Me: Nah, don't worry, I'm patient, so dial-up is good for me. Girl: My parents aren't home though - they won't bug us, so it'll be easier to do. Me: Wow, now there's no way - what if I had a heart attack? Who'd be in charge then? Also, I don't much like typing ducks, due to the obvious unsettling typo stemming from the word. * Get it? It's a pun! Ah ah ah! ** This was before everyone and their dog had broadband.
