Some people never grow up. Some even do but then grow down again.

Ive found that corner store headphones last just as long as ones from anywhere else. Which... isn't saying much, really. The same goes for batteries.

What the hell is wrong with me. Everyday I feel so drained of energy, I feel the need to sleep for about 14 hours everyday, I slur often when I talk now. I get headaches to often. Am I dieing?

I'm pretty sure you're not dying, but talk to a doctor/nutritionist/sleep specialist about it. And everyone else... -sigh- [ www.imdb.com] True Lies. Come on, people, watch a little AMC sometime. EDIT: Well, I guess non-Americans are excused there... This post has been edited by FourThirteen: May 22 2011, 23:41

Oh, Four, I got it.
But I didn't comment on it.
Because I'm ashamed that I even know about that movie.

I got one and two, but not three and four. So am I half-dying?

I'd say that's normal for anyone that goes to this site.

Which is? The lack of energy and the need to sleep or being half-dead?

Insomniacs and depressive types seem to browse forums a lot. Of course, I still believe anyone who isn't at least somewhat depressed is out of touch with reality.
If you're getting a lot of sleep but feel like it's not enough, in all likelihood there's something else affecting you. I know that oversleeping can actually make you more tired, so it's a good idea to shoot for a standard number of hours per night. Sadly, the ideal number tends to be different for different people. Try to go to bed and get up at about the same time each day. If there aren't a lot of other outside factors, your body should get used to being asleep at certain times and awake at others.
Also, if things are interrupting your sleep cycle, that'll screw you up. You'll want to block out noise where possible, and if you want to wake up in the morning, leaving the window shades open so the sun can come in may actually be a good move. In my experience at least, sunlight won't wake you up or keep you awake unless you're at the right point in your cycle, and thus have had enough sleep for the time being. Again, though, it's bound to change from person to person, but my sleep is usually best when I do these things.
Oh, and don't eat stuff too soon before bed if you can help it. It won't always hurt your sleep, but it can.

I refuse to open the windows these days.
Gotta be careful of yellow sand.

Maybe you're losing sleep for completely different reasons...

Mmm, my sleep schedule ain't what it used to be.
I feel tired a lot, can't bring myself to fall asleep at night when I try but end up falling asleep when I'm just lying on my bed. I fell asleep past 3 am today. I know this because I took a look at my cellphone to see what time it was when sleep wouldn't come.
I always wake up before 8; generally before 7 since I need to take a shower before leaving for work to arrive before 8. On days where I wake up past 7:15 I forgo the shower because fuck that, I don't wanna be late.
What's interesting is that the alarm clock on my cellphone rarely wakes me up. I generally wake up a few minutes before the alarm clock rings or after it's done ringing.
Still, a marked improvement over what I used to be like.

Yeah, I'm like that, too. That's why I try for the sunlight wake-up lately.
