Been meaning to read Berserk. But seems like a massive undertaking for me right now. That yearly release thing sounds like US releases of the Excel Saga manga!

if you can stand some gore and not mind some absolutely terrible heart-ache, Berserk is a must for anybody who gets even a smidgeon of enjoyment out of either fantasy or medieval settings. there's an old anime adaptation that serves as a pretty decent introduction to the series also.

i was exaggerating a bit, but Berserk is known for its infrequent publications... there is lots of material already out there though, enough to keep most people busy for a few days.

Surprisingly good slice of life show, I like it a whole lot. The girls are cute too, that's always a bonus.
