I just get a "firefox cannot connect." Is the site just down momentarily?

No its not

I've been having this issue for accessing the site the past couple of days myself. Unfortunately so far no one has been able to give a response on the situation i'm having.

A good way to go about it is to describe what you have tried and what results you got with each try.

You could boot a little DNS server on your machine that translates it. Although that's not trivial.

It always works fine for me.

I'm in the same boat with this. I haven't been able to connect at all. It is weird, however. It seems to WANT to load when I am using a vpn (but for some reason the vpn's speed is crap with anything but torrents), but then doesn't. g.e-hentai doesn't attempt to load at all without one though. I am currently living in Japan, and I'm hoping that the gov't isn't one of the factors in this.

edit: And suddenly it's working. I am totally confused. Happy, but confused.

Yea it was the same for me earlier. Just out of the blue "BAM!" working again as normal.

If you're using a VPN, sometimes the site won't load. No idea why. When it happens to me I just disconnect and reconnect or use a different exit server.
