It's been a while since I've played HentaiVerse, so I'm not sure when this actually occurred... I fought a few battles and realized that my abilities are stripped and I've been running around naked with no weapon. I thought it was odd that I was dealing crushing damage to my enemies and that my spells did not show up... So, here are my questions.

What happened to the aura orbs?

What are the Forbidden skills about?

Is there a guide or post somewhere that explains these changes? I tried looking at a HentaiVerse update thread and the original post didn't state the changes I see (which tells me this probably was implemented forever ago).

Long story short, in order to facilitate an overhaul to how we used ability points, the player setting database had to be blanked. This included abilities, equipment sets, battle items. Anything that was earned however was left in place.

This came with major 2 benefits: We no longer have to click the ability screen at least 224 times just to restore or stat bonuses, and resetting individual abilities is now possible.

And also for the time being, completely free.

What happened to the aura orbs?

orbs are gone. now we've Ability Points. you get a handful for free (also, through Training), each Slotted Ability gives you some bonus. Generally, you should get all the HP/MP/SP tanks & pots, then your weapon, armor, spells.

What are the Forbidden skills about?

they are for Spirit/Ether drain procs. don't worry about them now.

i guess the wiki? though, imo, it's more useful just go to the Ask the Expert thread and ask a more specific question. lastly, you can regear yourself in the Free Shop in WTS section. it's run by a handful of great & friendly people. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
