Any chance of me getting the originals of LG4 by Mieow? The English translated one that is on here is pretty hard to read, and I thought I'd give it a try...

The english translation of LG4 is not fanmade. It's in the actual japanese print... But if you still want to get either raws or png versions of it, let me know and ill PM you links to them.

Yes please, I would like to get my hands on the PNG files I guess. I can't promise I'l be able to finish it real soon, but I can at least make that translation much more readable.

I had commissioned this a few weeks ago

CIrcle Ohigetan (Ohigetan)] Ohigebon-35 Classmate Ochinchin Jugyou Sankan and PAID for its translation and editing.

I am reluctant to upload the translation because I now fear I might have not been authorized to translate the scanlation and thus I am fearful it will result in an infraction.

Until I get consent from the Scantalation group, I will not upload the gallery.

Im guessing you mean that you commissioned that to someone else than us, since we dont do commissions. You've paid for a translation and editing, but i feel the need to clarify you haven't paid us, anything... You have paid that guy "someone else" i mentioned above.

Im also guessing that youre asking for our permission to upload one of our scan but translated, cause why else would you even post here? To that i will just say: Of course you can!

Once our scans are published, anyone is able and allowed to do whatever they want with them... jerk off to them, draw mustaches on everyones faces, print them and use as them toilet paper... and last but not least, use them for translations.

I commissioned Forbidden to Translate one and his editor to typeset. I was reluctant to upload it because It timed out my sever and is a very large byte oriented file.

Someone that claims a scan is "Forbidden to Translate" is most likely an socially rejected idiot that think he owns something he lets loose on the internet. If he has any problems with translations, he should just stop publishing his scans and let normal, decent people scan it instead.

We don't have any watermarks on our scans, so i assume you mean the credit's page. Keeping that is silly, so feel free to remove it. If anything, you can mention who scanned it in the description or something.

could you guys share what model of scanner you use?

I think either a high end scanner or very good cleaning skills is the key to good raws....

We use a couple of different scanning-machines, but as far as im concerned the best one is Epson Perfection V370 (EPSON GT-F740 in japan)

It's a flatbed scanner that is pretty cheap but still gives great results. Many other scanners have problems with being overbright or having moire patterns on color scans but this one has been giving great scans, so far.

...and yes.. cleaning is really important =) ... but another thing that is more important is making sure that you have black backpaper behind the page youre scanning, or youll get bleeding.

As for loser translators, Ranzu Forbidden's editor and I have been fixing "Laruffi" or Laruinfi's handiwork of poor typesetting and horrid machine translations all the while uploading better quality ,water mark free, Better Translated galleries of his.

In the next one, I'm actually considering omitting Laruffi's name from the title altogether only leaving it in the description giving Ranzu the credit instead.
