Hi.

I'm posting scripts for various doujinshi and manga chapters on my blog as I do them, and I'll link them from the appropriate galleries as well.

The hope is that some kindly editor will be interested and put words and pictures together. Occasionally I do a little editing myself, but I'd really rather spend time translating.

No requests or anything, this is just something fun in my spare time. First one is the latest Kantai Collection one by Modaetei.

Description:
Many moons ago, I translated Hi Energy 9 and 10. Mostly because they were done by Kimigabuchi, and were thus awesome.

St Rio's art is...shall we be kind and say average? Not awful, but hardly spectacular. However, the story of Asuka and Nadia getting kidnapped and gang raped is totally hot enough to make up for that.

Asuka and Nadia are cosplayers, who are very dismissive of their fans. Downright negative, even. One wonders why they're cosplaying at all. So some of their "fans" kidnap them and show them what cosplaying is really for.

Even better, this is to be continued.

Before someone asks, this is the first story in the series. Hi Energy was a sort of compilation of stories from group members. The Asuka/Nadia gang-raping stories didn't turn up until Volume 2. They continued in every volume thereafter though, and I think later on they became the only story in it.

Honestly, most spectacular artwork I’ve seen in some time.

The major obstacle to editing is the shitloads of transparent bubbles. Frankly, I think the way the author did them is fucking hard to read. Up to the editor how they want to deal with them, but I wouldn’t be averse to trying something like a white fill. Depends how it ends up looking, it might be weird.

Basically, this could be a tough one. At the very least you’re going to have to spend some time figuring out your approach and trying a few things.

Also, there’s 7 of these and I believe it’s still ongoing. The 7th hasn’t made it to EX yet.

The first one has been, none of the others. Someone's working on the Blue Bean, but it's been a coulple of months so I have doubts that they'll ever finish it.
