the bold test was already discussed a couple of pages ago. i'm at work and i have no time to search it, but piyin agreed as well. basically it means that since situation was quite ambiguous we thought you had been somehow damaged and for this week we'll let you pick a couple of mags, if you wish so - doing it or not it's up to you. i don't really know how to put it in simpler words than this.

apart from this, i think colman's is quite a good advice: imo this game penalizes quite hard low-levels, but the best way to farm credits/have a shot at good gears is to level up till lv250~300 and gaining access to high-level arenas

In case you dunno, let me tell you that there is no point to get a few pieces of good items without high enough level nor high enough HV knowledge. The different for exq and leg gears is only ~20%. If you also consider the character's base strength from leveling. The different for full leg and full exq is less than 10%.

Just go level up. As your level, even with 5 piece of average plate (that what I used at your level), I can still level 10 times+ a day until I reach level 260. If I have another chance to be your level, I think I would be even faster as my HV knowledge grown and it is easy to get exq+ gears now.

So, just go level up to 310+ at least.

For me it isn't about the stuff/money it's about the principle. I'm one of those stupid people that could go to court against a big corporation if I know I'm right and in all probability loose the case(the little guy rarely wins), all my money, my apartment, and even the clothes on my back and spend the rest of my days in poverty and debt and still believe it was the right decision. Because I stood up for what I believe is right didn't sell, give up or compromise my values.(At least I believe I'm that kind of person, I haven't been in a so extreme situation, so I can't know for sure, but you get the gist of my personality type here.)

The worst I regular do is probably that I don't back down in a tense bar situation and I even though I'm a pretty big dude about 5 feet 10 (178 cm) for Sweden I'm average/short though but pretty wide mostly muscle, I could stand to lose about 10 pounds of fat though, but I suck at fighting and my best friend/drinking buddy is almost a giant but a huge coward, so it often ends with me getting the snot kicked out of me, when there ends up in a fight which it thankfully usually don't do, still I continue doing it. (Swedes love to drink many too much 60-70 years ago the average consumption was half a bottle of 80 proof Vodka a day, not weekends only every day! It's nowhere near as bad as that now but the tradition still hold strong and Sweden is a binge drinking nation, pretty much all major holiday's are celebrated with lot's of strong spirit about 80 proof)

In this case I believe since my ban was lifted because of the unclear rules my request became legit with the lifting of the ban, I know piyin disagrees and I feel the matter is settled now (or will be when I receive my comp) and I'm not going to argue anymore.

I feel the fact that when another staff member weighed in on it and not immediately supported the original staff member(which I believe forum staff members almost always do (support each other, speaking in general here not about this case/these staff in particular) and in the end offered me compensation I believe it shows that I'm at least partly right so I believe in the end I had some vindication. Not saying I was totally without a doubt right even I don't believe that. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I always like to argue with facts and logic, but as my old philosophy professor used to say (and probably still do to his new classes) you can't argue with someone who uses logical fallacies and refuse to acknowledge it. Or more accurately you can, but it's not going to get you anywhere. (Just so you know I have a bachelors degree in mathematic and a masters in Philosophy (I can scan you an anonymised copy as proof if you really want and not just trying to make me do busy work)(at my University you could take overlapping courses so I didn't have to take completely different courses for my bachelor in math and in philosophy, so it only took 6 years not 8 like it would have otherwise) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) What I want to say beyond bragging (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) is I have studied a lot of formal and informal, classic and non-classic logic, and published some papers manly on Informal logic so i know how to argue for real.(To my fellow nerds out there who will understand what this mean I've a Erdös number of 6, I know not that impressive but still)

I hope this doesn't come across as patronizing cause it's not my intent I just trying to explain this as clearly and short as I can:
I know how to argue with facts and logic (In fact i make part of my living on it), like the scientist I am and not like an American politician with lies, attacks and tons of logical fallacies.That s no fun for me, I prefer to argue with like minded people.
