The Freeshop has pages and pages and pages of magnificent and legendary leather, but only a few exquisite leather. Those who want a basic beginner's set of light armor may be in trouble due to the magnificent/legendary limits (but there being nearly only mag/leg leather equips in stock). I wonder if those restrictions might be relaxed slightly for leather due to its sheer overabundance.

After all, there's quite a difference in rarity/value of magnificent Leather and (for instance) magnificent Ethereal weapons of Slaughter/Destruction. The former is more likely than not just high-grade salvage (for higher level players and equipment donors), while the latter is much rarer and could be worth quite a few tens of thousands of credits, and so can of course be handed out only sparingly (if donated at all).

Are the Freeshop's ~450 magnificent/legendary Leather pieces really scarce enough to require such request limits? It doesn't seem like it, though of course this is up to the staff members, not me. (Categories other than Leather don't have this problem because there's nearly 3 times more mag/leg Leather than mag/leg equips in all the other categories combined. Exclude Plate and that ratio probably goes up to 30+)

Are you suggesting or whining here? not sure, but thanks, thats stuff that we have been thinking about since long ago, anyway i wanna reply you every part of that GREAT research:


1.- Our and the donators bad? Darn! Why arent we more charitatives? Why are we cheap bastars that dont donate more exquisites!? WHY!... oh wait! this is a free shop that depend on donations and volunteers to work... Donating isnt an obligation... so what FS has its what is has... any way im gonna try to do a special even soon to increse Exqs and decrese mags and legs leather, dont worry.

2.- Yeah, if ppl werent as greedy (as very very very rare cases are... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) to request at Lvl 30 a legendary shade stuff... i think they will be in trouble.

6.- Well the rules were made by the original 7 member of FS... and with the pass of time they has been changing to adapt to some situations and events... if it was the wim of a single dude then this wont be a shared freeshop... and so, one person cant do anything about the rules unless all the ACTIVE MEMBERS make a vote to change them or aprove the changes made by another member... we are humans... we are not perfect.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I apologize if you think I was trying to be insulting.

So if Freeshop would actually like non-Mag/Leg leather (and wouldn't sell most to bazaar for being worse than the many mag/leg leather in stock, as warned in post #2) then I can go ahead and save them for donation without fear of it being a wasted effort.

Here's hoping the upcoming level-binding patch doesn't completely destroy Freeshop. It was said that old equipment dropped before the patch will only be set once it's equipped (though all equips dropped after the patch will be bound at player's level when found).. so maybe gathering a huge stock of unbound equips that can be traded and used (once) could be useful. But after that, getting enough donations in range of low level players sounds like it would be very tough, since the vast majority of drops are found by high-level grinders. Maybe you guys will make a system to encourage giving back gifts and usable found equips once a player graduates to 200 and finds better equipment.

Unfortunately, not much we can do but twiddle our thumbs and worry until the patch actually comes though.

1.- Sorry dude, i was trying to found out if you had some kind of hidden interest behind your comment, so i played a little trick there: if my post didnt matter to you, then thats means you did it out of interest over the benefit of the newbies and only as a suggestion (was the point of arguing over giving and opinion... its just an opinion), but if you replied it... well nothing to tell you the true: if FS get a plus over suggestions and helps ppl, thats what matters.
