Until we've had a chance to talk to all staff members we're putting a hold on selling items. Potentially we are probably going to be looking to an exchange type system so you could redeem your tickets earned for an item instead of us worrying about setting prices. The problem is all these items were donated to help new players. We've suddenly got a lot of interest from older players seeing things they want - the last thing any of us want to do is upset the people who did donate by selling their item to a level 300 player as opposed to donating it as they presumed we would... All staff need to get together at some point to discuss this and if appropriate decide exactly what to do. We're much more likely to go along the route of item exchanges than credit purchase though.

Please do let me know what your decision is. I am not requesting an item out of greed, it really did take me almost 300 hundred levels to realise that superior stuff from the bazaar is horrible and that overall I am still a complete noob with shitty gear.

I have a few pieces of old magnificent/exquisite stuff that I almost certainly won't use and I'd very gladly exchange them for things that would be decent upgrades over my bazaar gear.

If someone already request a mag/leg equips, if he or she returned it(redonated back) can he or she ask for another similar item?(i.e another mag equip before the one month cooldown past, or another legendary) provided he or she is still on the level range.

imo, i would bump the lvl cap from 150 to 250. or at least let the people <lv250 get some equipment at a discounted price (ie 5k for superior, 10k for Exq, 20k for Mag, & 40k for Leg).

also, personally, one of the biggest hurdle for a new player is understanding the "game", ie what's good/bad or what you should do. so maybe shifted the 1st post focus from donations to New Players. like what fernicar has said, a suggestion set or help section maybe nice. ie Leather set + Longsword/Estoc. Shade set + 2H mace. etc. getting a mix phase + cotton set with mostly 1-2PAB stuff means you're going to have a bad time. or even a leather set with a 1PAB longsword is less bad, but still bad.

Thank you for your concern. I just recently started getting out of the "this is a single player game" mindset, so now I'm seeing how little I knew about most areas of the game. I'll try to improve, I promise!

Well, tbh you are GSC player and have access to nearly all arenas, you should be be able to just buy full magnificent set quite fast, what's with the prices of fenrir gear being an all-time low. Don't need to grab improvement to gear you came across if you'll be replacing it soon anyway.

@Lement: I'm pretty sure that your moogle send script wouldn't work on Chrome and Iron without Tampermoneky, since onclick returns null in userscript context for some reason (if I had to guess, it's probably security so native script won't "leak" into userscript)

Well, I hope you're right. I only got gold star last friday and I started browsing the forums for gear yesterday, so I haven't had time to accumulate hath or gear or anything. The OP said that you would be willing to help "veterans" as well, so I thought I'd ask.

Still, if you decide that players whose level is above the cutoff may exchange gear they're not using with something from your shop (for example, at 2 for 1 ratio, or one magnificent for one exquisite), please do let me know. I have a handful of unused magnificent stuff laying around, certainly not enough to have any chance at winning anything at the lottery if I donated them, but if I could get something I could use, I'd gladly hand them over to the shop.

Remember to get the dawn each day for your 4 hath, it won't tick automatically.

Yes, but case-by-case basis. Help is more than just equip, ex: at your level, you should melee until you reach level 310 if you want to mage, you'll save much gnashing this way thanks to triple imperil. In any case, if you completely lack a set, I probably wouldn't mind giving one to you for two weeks until you pick together enough cash to replace all the pieces in it, one of the biggest problem with running free equip shop is that people ask for equip, play for a week and then quit.

As a GSC member you're already getting 37K credits worth of combined credit and Hath value everyday you log in and hit your Dawn of a New Day. Sure you went 280 levels underequipped, but with your gold star now you're in a great position to save up for a while, consider your gear needs, and pick up what you'd like from shops and auctions. In my opinion, and I'm not referring to you specifically by this, players with so much free income everyday shouldn't need any help from a free shop (I know it's not really free in the sense that real money has to be paid for the gold star, but that's not the issue here).
