Or mod's matter, if you do something that's broken site rules.
Also, tune down your words. It'd be nice if you can include the no. of rules being broken so the new players can refer to the first post and adjust accordingly.
And then i was scolded... BY VARST!... this is one of those things i try to avoid at all the cost... and yet... looks like im the target of all his wrath... looks like im gonna need to change roles with Scremaz for a while...
ANYWAY!... I tought i was speaking of FS stuff and not the whole site matters... my bad if that part sound odd.
Also... dunno if overlord Varst has read the first post of FS yet... these parts specifically:
Welcome to FreeSHop!
Please be sure to read our rules before requesting!- REQUESTS SECTION -
FIRST PART: IRONCLAD RULES
not observing them will lead you to a 14 days ban; multiple violations will bring you a month or a permanent ban, at our discretion. Yes, we can do this.•1. Making any request from us means you agree with all our rules, and we can ban you at our discretion if you break them or if we think there's the need to do so.
◦1.1 We understand that not all users in this forum speak native English, so you can obviously ask for clarification anytime, included the reason of an eventual ban. Actually, we invite you to do this if needed, only don't troll please.NOTE:
I didnt do the rules, i just can only edit anything after talk about it with Scremaz, and revy, if she is around, so the only thing i do i pointing out ppl rule breaking the rules
after they have already read the rules (as stated in the rules... made in the past by Ai and evaluated and agreed with the original 9 FS staff members).
My enforcing only do one thing: make ppl read the rules they havent read... the same as the mods when ppl do something like necroposting (something i did in the past) or become an annoying troll (like once i was)... and so when ppl get scolded/scared they will try to find their mistake (in 80% of the cases) instead of just start spouting nonsense stuff (like here... in the other 20% of the cases).
So... i think i can add the rules ppl is breaking when they do wrong... but thats basically telling them: "dont read the rules, im gonna be your babysitter and tell you where you were wrong"... sadly... if they break rule 6, im gonna post them "check rule 6" or stuff... but here comes the ugly part: what if the same person, after finding out the rule he broke, ask again... and now broke rule 5... do i need to do the same again? another post to point that out? and what if they break rule 7 after that? another post? and the same person can do the same with the other 10 rules...
so whats better:
Me pointing out wrong ways over requests because ppl didint read the rules in the first place.
or...
Scolding them an telling them to read the whole rules (work that take bewteen 3 and 10 mins).
... if i can find anyone willing to do the first part then he can waste his time doing that, because i find that a time killer work... and all the remaining FS staff members here are:
•12. This is a free service running thanks to the efforts of
volunteers who sometimes can be busy with Real Life and they won't recieve any Black Shirt to deal with this project in their free time. The second part is easier for me and quicker, and i bet it has more effect over ppl (like the ban i was under sometime ago).
ANYWAY!... im gonna tune down the words, as you told me, and will try to make the scolds lighter... but im not gonna let pass rule breakers free... how difficult is to read the rules? (IMG:[
