You can consider buying a single slot NAS (e.g. Synology DiskStation DS115j)and put a 6TB drive into it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I normally use NAS as an external harddrive. It is small, easy to setup and easy to use. However, I am not sure can a common NAS (not the one using a desktop computer as NAS) run H@H.

If you talking about external HDD's I got a few..
I got a 750GB Passport external HDD.
Let alone I got the APRICORN EZ-UP-UNIVERSAL 2.5" IDE / SATA USB 2.0 Hard Drive Upgrade Kit..
(I had to get the box to put that)
That has the 1TB HDD in it that can be used as a external HDD.
Not to add the few thumb sticks I have one is a 8GB two are 16GB.
The 8GB was for school one of the 16GB was for Mods for my xbox games why the other was for Mods for PC games.

The advantage of NAS over external HD is that you normally do not need to directly connect to the NAS via USB cable to get its data. You need to connect the NAS to network router though.

In addition, it can function like a small computer. You can set up many services with it, e.g. Bit torrent down load manager, web server, mail server, web cam system, etc.
