And I noticed that I requested 2 potions instead of one.
So after a brief calculation I figured that my allowance for that week was another mag item.
However it was almost Monday so I was not sure if I will get my mag item anymore.
For the new week I am trying to get the leg item.

Also I think there should be "or" options to prevent me from requesting an item,
then notice its in another player's hand after days.

I'm honestly surprised that something as important as the 'red bolded' part was left out from the rules of the FS thread.
The 'red bolded' part sets a condition to this rule of the FS thread.
Without the conditions('red bolded' part) set to the rules that is mentioned above, any user who fits the criteria for making a request can make a request for new items on every monday regardless of any cooldown period as no such thing was specified in the rules.

The rule technically allows a person to make a request on Sunday 23:59, and make a new request on the following Monday, 00:01.

Moreover, even though the rules did not specify any cooldown period between requests, I was careful enough to not make a new request in less than 24hrs of my previous request (though I don't know how this 'dawn of the new day' event works).

With that said, I respectfully request the staff to review my request for this week and come to a decision agreed upon by all the staff of the FS on how best to handle my request as the reason for invalidating my request was basically non existent in the rules.
I also respectfully request the staff to update the rules to include the new conditions to prevent similar cases from happening again.

First of all, in my stupid opinion, there's nothing entirely wrong with "pick and choose" versus "look for best equipments" if and only if you intend to use them (you can tell the distinction if one week they get a Leg Heimdall and the next they give a Mag Power). It teaches noobs how find good equips, certainly fulfilling part of the spirit of this store by helping noobs. On the other, it deprives the guess and pickers (truly noobs), of the possibility that they'll get good equips, thus we end up with a net good of zero or net loss of good done.

Given his record, he's been slowly learning how to make distinctions between what equipment will help him, but I really, really hope he's returned what he's not using. Or tried to actually pay back a bit of debt with donated equips.

If any of those conditions are fulfilled, he shouldn't get banned. If they aren't, well... he can certainly keep the equips he has for life and eat a ban.

fact is, we are dispensing equips that a lv400 can consider average, but a lv300 still may find useful: without questioning the specific case, we already saw (and caught! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) someone who abused of this service to do some quick credits. or people asking for many (let's say 10?) armor pieces of the same type because they 'picked and chose' week after week the best gears available at the moment. allow us to be a little pissed about that: in first because FS isn't so well-seen from all the players - we recieved some posts, PM, karmas... a-bit-of-all claiming that we basically ruined WTS section, for example; second, because that's somewhat an abuse of our time/efforts

now, if we really want to speak about the above user, what did he do?
he chose an item, then after another one was available, he immediately picked another and bargained what he just recieved to have the second. comprehensible. let's be honest, who wouldn't have tried to do it? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
when you'll start to search in WTS (as i just wrote to piyin) you'll see some really nice equips, maybe you'll even broke your whole credits to try and buy it, and after a little bit you'll see another one, maybe better, maybe cheaper, maybe both. but you can't buy it anymore because you are almost bankrupt: that's another teaching, never gamble everything you own.
last but not the least, he candidly admitted that he stayed at the pc waiting for cooldown reset (jpg speaks by itself, as far as i've understood): that's the kind of thing that pisses the watchdog. maybe he likes to show his gif collection but he's not bad, he only cares about some things, this is one of them. if we want to extract a story out of this, never make a benefactor think twice about what he did for you.


tl;dr: we'll give you what you want, at our conditions. and besides, it isn't explicitly written but we have full right to vetoing something, given a proper explanation.

this is less or more what i think. quite long, but i'm quite tired of seeing people not reading rules or searching excuses here and there. please don't treat us as fools, because behind this giveaway service there are hundreds of hours of work by us retainers, by the coders and personal resources of the person who sponsored all this.
