I don't know why you are sending equipment back to the Free Shop, they were given to you without any strings attached. It would be far better to auction off the unneeded equipment (given the current market for Force Shield is red hot) and use the proceeds from the auction to jump-start your godslayer journey. Your battles as a godslayer will generate a lot of equipment drops. Most of them will be bazaar fodder, some will be useful to a newb that you can either donate to the Free Shop or sell, and a very few of them will actually be useful and compliment your gear.

I don't know why you are sending equipment back to the Free Shop, they were given to you without any strings attached.

• As a courtesy we'd appreciate that once you have finished using a free item you return it to us so another player can use it. <snap>
  You aren't actually obliged to do so, that's only a sort of netiquette and a newly donated item will actually award you credits, but a returned one does not. Magnificent or Legendary are sent to a certain person and may not be sold or traded to other players, otherwise we could decide to ban you from this shop.
