1. Those are new players, not beggers. Please treat them like any other members.
New players are supposed to have less post count and aren't so sure how things work. Those two reasons shouldn't be the sole factors to determine if someone can get free equips. If they aren't following the rules, just tell them which rules they should check.
If anything look suspicious, send me or Tenboro a PM.

2. Stop accusing people with no evidence. Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat.

3. Font size and bolding and sarcastic images should be used when necessary. Using that too much and people will be scared.

I can understand the frustration of helpers here. They're not paid, they have to deal with tons of requests (some of them invalid), and they have to keep the shop updated. So their effort should be respected.

However, this thread's also the place where many new players would first meet other members, and I do believe it's to the community's best interest not to be too harsh here.

If anyone want to share your feeling, they're always welcomed to do so on IRC/PM/another thread. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

OK... i have read this already so much times and here is goes my reply: As a member of FS, im kinda the bad police here (scremaz gimme that title) and i mostly do some freaking annoying posts some times (like 75% of times), this time i freaked out about that matter because it was pretty, pretty rare/odd/abnormal or any word you want to describe it to see that there was a HUGE amount of ppl with less than 1 post in their post counter that requested...

You will think "So what?": well asa fellow FS staff member i hve been here since the begining of FS, and with the pass of the life of this project: This is the very first time i see that!, and wonder what? I feel scared that we could be under the assault of ppl that was going to snipe things as they already know what to aim for... and it was scary... because most of this 'NEW' requests were exactly like what i was fearing the most... i dont mean that this scenario wasnt possbible (it is, and it can happen) but, truly, i didnt mean scare anyone... just to express my corcern about this... truly i cant say all of those ppl are really cheaters, because i dont have any solid evidence of that, but try to be on my shoes when i fell like ppl are trying to take advantage of us... it make me way to angry!

So this time im gonna cool my head and believe in the human side of the ppl, so those requests will be granted (unless they broke the rules)... and yes... maybe a little post count rule will be added (something not so big... like only 5 or 10 posts before requesting anything).

Again, The Watchdog feels so sorry for the ppl that doesnt deserved the doubt and got mixed in a way or other... but remember: The Watchdog will be watching over you.

1.- Agree with the first part, but no with the second: i never said that we (me) were deny them the equipments the requested... if there is a post like that (excluding the rule breakers) with ppl asking for stuff the right way and me saying them NO ITEMS FOR YOU (excluding the ppl the post stuff like 'i want 1 legendary, thanks'... those ones... well you know the rules) then post it father this post. FS STAFF MEMBERS WILL NEVER DENY ANY REQUEST, UNLESS THEY BROKE THE FS RULES, DEAL? and thats something i have been posting since the begining of FS, so if anyone can prove that i deny them equipment after they made a right request OR to any newbie, post it please (edited post will be doubt... i already know who ppl dare to use those as evidence).

1.- And lately, we have only been 3 ppl working on FS... So our hands are full with RL/HV/WTS/FS and other stuff that could happen and would make us slower... sorry for not begin machines (to the ppl always asking why we cant give them their stuff right away... thats also a scripts matter), but we do our best... ALSO ALL THE STUFF REQUESTED ON THIS WEEK WILL BE SEND TODAY, SO WAIT FOR IT.

I have never noticed the existence of the shared free shop before I read about this in the HV wiki. When I first saw this thread, I was just going to take an advantage of you, and was going to request a leg or mag item every week barely breaking the rules. I was even thinking about stopping leveling to exploit this system. To be honest, I was not really interested how you guys working hard here whether by hands or programmed methods... Even, the fact you guys are "orges" or not didn't matter to me at all. Because, I thought our Karma was going to end up in my requests for items.

However, after checking every post written after my request in this thread, in all conscience, I feel ashamed. And I never ever can think you guys are orges. You certainly have been intelligent beings, and you are perfectly fine to feel that way as in the quote above. I understand you because I either have been seeing many people (like more than 50%), who are not gonna use e-hentai forum except for this free shared shop system, just saying little "hi", and taking a decent item/items.. Right you are. The fact people are cheaters or not is not the only matter.


=My suggestion=
The purpose of the shared free shop, and the origin of the shop might have been started from happy sharing experiences ―'Thank you', 'You welcome', and "Remember"― but where those experiences come from? I guess it's from the future; you must be happier if you can see people you helped in the future. (On the other hand, you will be less likely happier if someone just exploited this system and left). Thus, you probably want to encourage new beginners to use our whole e-hentai forum more, not only this system.

So, it may be better to hand out items gradually according to the number of posts people posted. For example, a superior item can be requested after 0 post (something like a promotion), an exquisite item 5, and a magnificent item like 25. a legend like 50.



The free shared shop is my first thread. Yet I haven't received my request (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , this is a new fun experience. So, I sincerely thank you that you work here for helping beginners.
