Did this change also impact the number of points when voting up/down a comment and/or tag for the images? I ask because before the change, I never really paid attention to how many gold/credits/whatever I got as I had one purpose in mind -- fresh hentai goodness. I never really knew how one got more point value assigned to their ID (never researched it), but I was up to 9 points before the change.

Now, I suddenly find myself down to 6 points, which happened to be what my credit loot was for the day. Is there a correlation or did I do something that saw me punished?

My suggestion: cash in your credits for GP now while the rate is still only 200 per K, it used to be less than half that and looks to be rising.

Unless you don't use GP at all of course... in which case my advice is worth dust.

1 post every 30 days isn't that hard to do. There's a load of spam threads around that people can post in to get their post in, even without anything meaningful to say.

As for complaining about it (and I know not everyone is complaining, this is to those who actually are), instead of whining, why not give an alternate suggestion that would still thwart the thousands of multi-accounts for bot farming and maybe Tenboro will consider it.

There's a cap of 24 REs per day.

- Random battles can now be triggered every thirty minutes, but the number of daily battles is limited to 24.

EDIT: Next question not explicitly answered by the wiki then, could we implement more since the time of occurrence was (fairly) recently changed to 30min? It helps lots with power leveling!

Doubtful, considering that this thread is already about changes to prevent abuse of Dawn and Random Encounters. Besides, 24 is already more than what anyone used to be able to get when they were hourlies.

Edit: That is, unless you're actually sacrificing sleep to get all of them. Even then, you'd get 23, not 24 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well, I never came for the forums (I don't think I even knew they were here for the first couple of years), only the H stuff. In the image boards, I did make comments because that's where I was, but those don't count as forum talks.

I think I used gold (or whatever) in the game, which I played a short time, but mostly, the credits/gold I used on rare occasions where there was something I wanted to d/l, but there were no torrents for it.

I understand not wanting people to abuse the system- but personally this seems like it will just promote spam, forcing people who would otherwise have nothing to say to make obligatory comments once a month purely for the sake of proving they aren't monotonous...

I mean, to be completely honest, I've only started posting on here after finding out about the Dawn events. I just started playing the game because I really like RPGs, and because I figured if I got enough credits together, I could request a translation with a bounty. (Just translation, I'd do the typesetting myself)

The point itself is that, being forced to post no matter what, the chance most of that posts wil be "useful" drop considerably. I also found myself better with posting inside the galleries directly, as the forum is generally more crowded (you don't make in time to find a new thread that 10 people already answered it) and I have very little to contribute compared to many experts over here.

Well, as long as Admin has everything under control I suppose it can work both ways, though integrate "gallery posts" in the count would be wiser, in my opinion. It's made easier by the fact that there are dozens of "spam threads" floating around in the Hentaiverse part of the forums though. Like this one. A lot of people usually post their dawn text there for the daily post.

I can understand how someone can abuse the dawn event with multiple accounts, but how did they abuse the random encounters? Maybe I am just not devious enough to think of way to abuse those.

Have a bot play the hourlies for credits & drops. 1,000 accounts -> 23,000 rounds played per day, with no need to step in and solve RiddleMasters.

That sounds like a lot of effort just to get credits. I find it a lot easier to just run H@H and play when I want to play. I actually have fun playing and I have all the GP I can ever need to download all I want.
