Is there a good reason to do IW on PFUDOR instead of on IWBTH? Potency PXP is the same 15.6

No, you're assuming that every random battle was queued up at the the top of each hour. That was not the case. Every Random required 1 hour or 3,600 seconds to pass since the last random and or dawn event to be triggered. Even if you were to write a program to trigger random battles and dawn events for you, your ping, no matter how fast, would not be fast enough to prevent your 23th random battle of the day from being pushed into tomorrow's dawn event. Limited the old system of random encounters down to 22 per day. Also the average human's need to sleep each day really digs into it as well.

No. You're assuming that there have to be 60 minutes between the last "hourly" and the dawn event. That's not the case.

I assumed no such thing. Everyone knows that the Dawn event can be triggered at the top of zero hour and that it takes precedence over randoms. Do I have to make an infographic to explaining why only 22 random battles a day was possible with the old system? I didn't think it wasn't necessary, but that is clearly not the case.

24h clock for simplicity sake... Let's say one triggers a battle about every 61 minutes: 00:00 Dawn Event 01:01 1st hourly 02:02 2nd hourly 03:03 3rd hourly 04:04 4th hourly 05:05 5th hourly 06:06 6th hourly 07:07 7th hourly 08:08 8th hourly 09:09 9th hourly 10:10 10th hourly 11:11 11th hourly 12:12 12th hourly 13:13 13th hourly 14:14 14th hourly 15:15 15th hourly 16:16 16th hourly 17:17 17th hourly 18:18 18th hourly 19:19 19th hourly 20:20 20th hourly 21:21 21st hourly 22:22 22nd hourly 23:23 23rd hourly00:00 Dawn Event ... wash, rinse and repeat. Still too difficult to grasp? Then you must be even more retarded than I thought.
