This. Before, you could only have one random an hour. Assuming you were awake 24 hours a day, you could only have 22 random battles a day. The dawn event not only overrides your first possible random of the day, it also overrides the last possible random you could of had yesterday, because random's couldn't be triggered within an hour each other. Limiting our total random encounters per day down to 22. Heck, if the new system limited us to 12 randoms a day, we would still be happy with it. |
