I've been reading Cormac McCarthy lately. He's a great writer but honestly, I could use a few more commas every now and then.

The Mo Zi. Easily the most impressive philosophical text in world history prior to the Enlightenment. It's baffling how Confucianism caught on afterwards, though I suppose it helps that apparently most of Mencius was just damage control from the massive amount of butthurt that they received from the Mohists. Shame most of it is incapable of being understood well because it's both fragmentary and in really, really old Chinese.

I started reading Countdown to Zero Day, it's an account of how Stuxnet was discovered/spread. Really interesting stuff.

On Seas Contested , a book about naval warfare in WW2. Just finished The Pacific War: 1941-1945, so I thought I might read a book on naval combat in specific.

Recently finished In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje. A bit confusing at first but really good.
