Trying to read Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace, which is pretty difficult since it's so damn long.

Quite possibly. Read it years ago, recently came back to finish off the series, starting heretics of dune now.

Although R. Scott bakkers aspect-emperor books would take my vote for best ever

I've still got the audiobook files on my PC somewhere, I might listen to it again.

Just finished reading 7 volumes of the translated Japanese light novel Log Horizon and waiting to see if there will be a translation for the recently published 8th volume. I thought it is one of the better light novels out there. I actually enjoyed reading this than most other light novels I have gone through. Don't get me wrong, I have read a lot of Western sci fi/adventure genres like Tolkien (all), Robert Jordan (all), Dunes (all old and recent), etc. but I have not found any interesting one lately.
