I didn't like Winter Smith as much as Making Money, but both were quite enjoyable to read. Then again, I am a nerdy little Pratchett fan so I do enjoy reading his stuff ^^

Currently, I'm reading next to nothing. Just finished up "The Alchemist" (Paulo Coelho) for an english assignment at school, and I simply haven't gotten around to reading any new books afterwards.

Have to say I'm looking forward to A Dance with Dragons though...

Finished Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein not too long ago. Shitty prose, but very insightful material. You can tell that he was anticipating the sexual revolution in American pop culture as well as a number interesting things concerning the function of religion in society.
Currently working through The Trial by Franz Kafka. Significantly better writing (of course, it's a translation--I wish I knew German!) concerning a very bizarre...well, trial. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I liked it, at least.

And also re-reading The Thirteen and a Half Lives of Captain Bluebear by Walter Moers.

My brother's getting me to read Gardens of the Moon, the first book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson.
I've been meaning to re-read the Wheel of Time books, and Sword of Truth books too. Actually, I still need to finish SoT.

Malazan Book of the Fallen is very awesomable. I just completed The Bonehunters myself, and am halfway through Return of the Crimson Guard, by Ian C. Esslemont. (The guy that co-created the world with Erikson)

Yes! It's taking too damn long! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Did you hear that NBC (I think) is going to try and make a series out of A Game of Thrones? It's on Martins website.

Flags of Our Fathers - James Bradley

I just read this book and it was very good, I really like his writing style.

The story of the men that raised the flag at Iwo Jima is amazing.
