Mushoku Tensei. It's a pretty wish-fulfilling self-insertion gary-stu LN at first but gets way, way better later on.

Little House in the Big Woods, by Laura Ingalls Wilder; Winnie-the-Pooh, by A. A. Milne; and My Naughty Little Sister, by Dorothy Edwards -- all of them books from my childhood that I rediscovered while browsing through a second-hand bookstore last night.

Incidentally (and by coincidence), all these books involve characters based on real people. Little House is a recounting of Ingalls' early childhood, Pooh is a collection of bedtime stories involving Milne's son Christopher Robin, and Little Sister is a set of anecdotes of Edwards' little sister Phil.

It's a fun read with a decent MC. The plot and character development are good for a LN, and the author avoids most of the generic harem tropes.
The translations are far from perfect (weird syntax and 'engrish,' some of the chapters were probably machine translated) but they're being put out at a phenomenal rate. I recall skimming the first few chapters a month ago, but now they're already at volume 7.
