Not too long ago, I finished a book called The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson. It was really surprisingly good. I found myself getting emotionally attached to the characters in ways I haven't in a long time.

Mahan on Naval Warfare. An interesting collection of essays by the author of The Influence of Sea Power Upon History, 1660-1783. Theory, history, and policy, including discussions of then recent affairs.

'The Stolen Throne' , by an author whose name I can't remember offhand and am too lazy to look up. One of the Dragon Age prequel novels; it's not bad.

I just finished reading David Starr Space Ranger by Isaac Asimov like 10 minutes ago.

Next up is probably The Currents of Space, also by Asimov.

Classic Sci-Fi is insanely good.

The only reading material guaranteed to decrease your IQ!

WWZ was quite good, I really enjoyed it.

I just finished 1984. I've finally gotten around to reading it. The books been on my list for far too long. George Orwell has a talent for making a soul crushingly depressing ending.

I've also just finished The Strain. It's nice to read a vampire book that has nothing to do with romance. I'm avidly awaiting the other two books.

I've just read Yasunari Kawabata's Snow Country and Ryunosuke Akutagawa's Kappa. Snow Country was pretty confusing, leaving me guessing. Re-reading candidate. On the other hand, Kappa is... different. Almost like a whimsical tale of a mad man (Akutagawa died of suicide shortly after writing Kappa, FYI), yet pretty enjoyable to read.

I just finished reading a novel I borrowed from the library last week. It's called Siverfin, and it part of a series known as Young Bond. The plot is not that interesting - how many times have I heard about genetically-engineered soldiers in the media, already? Countless.

The Back cover of a CD, and some pages about "Religion in our days, is there the true answer to our questions?" and "The End of the World, how this affect us" and "The complex art of do two or more things at the same time". Nothing but shit. Ahj!
