Reading 'Nation' by Terry Pratchett. Good stuff. Pratchett manages to combine tragedy, wonder, and humor in what seems to be the perfect balance. Probably my favorite book I've read all year.

I've read great things about this book, but I also hear it is written with the young adults in mind. Would you say it is a relatively easy read?

I am currently reading Singularity's Ring by Paul Melko.

It's quite an easy read, and flows smoothly. It may have been written for the YA audience, but even adults could find it worth reading, I'd think.

Recently finished 'Brighton Rock' by Graham Greene. I like when Catholics don't disappoint intellectually or artistically.

Currently working on The Loser by Thomas Bernhard.

Just finished 'Nation' the other day. Gonna start on 'The Lies of Locke Lamora' soon, unless I start reading 'Best Served Cold' or start re-reading the Black Company books.

"Extraordinary Engines: The Definitive Steampunk Anthology" by Nick Gevers.

very very interesting read, especially to people interested in dabbling into the steampunk genre. it's a concise compilation that spans from various sub-themes of the steampunk spectrum, told through the various shorts written by a collective of writers. Though varying in mood and style, the cohesiveness of the stories contained in this anthology, albeit brief, will basically give anybody a broad understanding of steampunk. And for those already in the know, it will basically enhance and enrich your liking for the genre. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) i just finished reading it the other day.

Finishing "Fragile Things" by Neil Gaiman at the moment.

The Art of War by Zun Tsu for sixth time. If there's a very old book that could be useful to me, is this indeed. Also I'm trying to translate some latin texts, seems like part of a ritual of witchery or sorcery, 15% completed.

You sir take home the grand prize for reading a book on steampunk. I'm currently searching for the vampire kisses series, preferably in a store near my location.
