Edit: Forgot to add what I'm reading. I stumbled upon Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. It's different from what I usually read but I really like it so far. Also I've been reading an old novel: 'In a Shantung Garden', by Louis Miln. It's eh, also different, not really sure I like it. It's interesting that's for sure.

started Anna Karenina recently. only ~100 pages in, but have been finding it somewhat boring. i'm willing to extend the benefit of the doubt, especially since all of the big dostoevsky novels have the same problem. looking forward to the rest

No but I'm reading 1Q84 now. Men without women worked just fine not having read anything else of his before. I had seen the film adaptations of Burning and Drive my Car though.
