Books by Brandon Sanderson have been very interesting, Good worldbuilding in a fantasy setting if that sounds interesting to you.

No Longer Human - Dazai, Osamu

Interesting, I haven't started yet reading books of japanese authors. Well, I'm not a bug fan of novels, I'm a boring person who prefers non-fiction books (i-it's che correct term? Idk for many words I have to translate from italian to english)

Been reading through the reckoners series recently. I know it’s just typical YA stuff but I dig it anyway, I’ve been in a mood for superpower-based stories.

Last thing I read was Demian by Hermann Hesse, pretty good book. I felt very identified with the narrator, something very rare for me.

Yasunari Kawabata's Snow Country was required reading in my school during my high school years.

Same here. At least 80% of my personal collection are books on history.

An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir.
At the time I chose to buy it, I intended to buy a sci-fi or fantasy book; although I prefer a stand alone one. This turned out to be the first book of a serie.

There are lots of novels in the suggestions, but non-fiction is also interesting. For example:

The Elusive Quest for Growth: Economists’ Adventures and Misadventures in the Tropics
by William Easterly

It's the story of how foreign aid failed for more than 60 years to help nations in need.

The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales
by Oliver Sacks

A collection of clinical cases that challenge the common perception of our own identity, reality and wellbeing.

Knowledge and the Wealth of Nations
by David Warsh

A tale of what we can learn from the fact that if we share an apple we have two half-apples but if we share the idea of an apple we have two ideas of an apple.
