QUOTE(gc00018 @ Dec 25 2013, 19:37) Evil and Fun~ great idea! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Who cares ? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Just go and get the end-game weapons in Lottery! No Grinding! Happy life! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Yes its a great way to get awesome equipment, but what if its not what your looking for, or if you missed your shot at what you wanted? actually thats a good question, what are the odds of lottery offering the same piece of equipment at a later date? I mean if you missed your chance to own what you wanted, will it ever come up again? still worth it though (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

It's almost impossible to get a PXP 370+ Weapon from grinding. I don't even know any one got one in a year. Maybe the system can't really sucessfully roll a 370+ weapon by drop roll except Peerless. (Not sure, maybe a cat can tell us something? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ) But Lottery 2.0 can, almost all are 370+. At least I can see them, at least I know the chance is low but not ZERO. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's a quality modifier perk essentially...probably 10%~ boost.

Lottery seems fine to me. I don't expect to win anything whenever I play, but I don't begrudge anyone who does win, even if it's a result of buying a ton of tickets. They only came by them in some manner that helps the whole place out, after all. I'll be interested in 2014 to see what other techniques get used to encourage participation in helping sustain the site, keep a lid on inflation and keep players "happy" at the same time. It's a neat balancing act...probably way more fun than actually grinding! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I'm finally beginning to understand it. The so-called poor players don't really want gear or money. They want to 1-up those they perceive as their enemies.
I hope this thread lives forever.

QUOTE(qw3rty67 @ Dec 28 2013, 09:00) Stony's cool and all, but Vriska buys gp after him (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Its not like stony really needs to buy everything from the lottery, I mean he is already #1 on almost all the toplists, so why does he really need to steal good items from people that actually need them?

He's not stealing them. He's donating GP to the people that win the runner up prizes.

I can't understand your thoughts. 1.Who can judge that he needs the item or not? What's the criterion? 2.Why do you think he steals them? Do you think that someone else always steal your chance if he beat you and win auction? Then go to a socialist state.3.Should the rich always yield goods to another one? Are you mentioning the rich's responsibility to return some of their profits to society? You can at least say that if Stony is a company and you even just a little little bit helped he get rich. But he's not M$, a major company or whatever, but just an individual user like you.

Dude... Toplist does not reward you with epic gear. Toplist Bonus is kinda low. So all he gets is a shitload of GP but he has to keep his h@h slots running or he will run out fast which costs him $$$

Yeah exactly. Stony isn't stealing anything, he has put in literally thousands of dollars, which contributes to keeping the site free for many people. The money helps Tenboro be able to afford to purchase a slightly better brand of baked beans to live off after he puts the rest of his money into building new servers and what not. The site is ruddy expensive.
