How to win at HV: use a not-particularly optimal but workable build

No from what i seen in the past...Cheat. There was people who was cheating and Tenboro known about it but really did not do a lot about it. That or slave away your life at HV, send Tenboro all the money you earn, than buy a few severs with what money you have left, why at the same time run H@H on every sever you have and have H@H take up all your internet speed (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Not posting any feedback will probably screw over Tenboro's updates.

Winners of the lottery should also say how many tickets they bought right next to their name just because

QUOTE(chess guy 24 @ Oct 20 2013, 19:22) The lottery was a good idea but as it stands now, whats the point, only the rich will win.
Time to let the discussion begin.
But the REAL question is: Why do you want to win? What will happen when you win? Are you one of those poor people who is always daydreaming about win something, and when the moment comes, you don't know what to do next? No one is forcing to play, moaning is useless, deal with it or quit.

Just make a list where we can see everyone's individual GP.

As I've written before, there should be a cooldown for winners so others have an opportunity to win. If you win the grand prize, then a week. 5 days if you win GP. Then, you won't have a lot of the same winners each time.
There should be cap, but a reasonable one, to how many tickets you can buy each day. 10k, 50k? Whatever.

That.. you would become 'Tenboro' to be able to see everyone's individual total GP

Yes, but for an item like a Perless Ethereal Estoc of Balance, in credit worth - doesn't that outweigh the GP many times over?

Look on the bright side: when there is a nice Legendary Ethereal Balance of Estoc you want at auction, you don't have to worry about StonyCat wanting it. And when I say 'wanting,' I mean 'winning.'

Well when they are making millions of GP per day because of H@H / other Pay 2 Win methods, does it really matter them how much of a loss they took?

So if they're contributing to the site, why shouldn't they have some advantage (i.e. with more resources) over those who don't contribute? Look at the big picture. Everyone has a chance to win here. Take the peerless estoc for example. It has taken about 30M credits from player, which is almost the same price as you can get from other players. Why shouldn't the rich spend more to get what they want to have? Also, have you ever seen something like 'you've won in the lottery, now you can't bet for a year' in real life? This post has been edited by varst: Oct 22 2013, 05:20

Or you grind HV and convert to GP (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The rich are getting richer? You mean StonyCat spending way way way more value in GP to win some meager "Peerless" items than he could ever get back from selling them? Even when you see repeat GP winners, they usually have a net loss in GP from overspending trying to win the equip. I can assure you he lost a boatload on the only actual good item generated so far. QUOTE(erwtsnert @ Oct 21 2013, 22:19) Or you grind HV and convert to GP (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) That's something that should have been done when the GP exchange was at 100c/kGP. But there's a really short list of people around here that earn their credits through "investing" in things. Most now choose the option of trading real currency for fake e-currency, and then further trading that for EH currency. lottery = scam but people would whine less if good drops didn't become scarce at the same time the lottery was created.
