The lottery was a good idea but as it stands now, whats the point, only the rich will win.

There should be some changes made to the lottery system to ensure that not only the rich can benefit from it. Things such as just 1 ticket a person, but higher costs; Putting a solid cap on the number of tickets such as 100; Letting each person only win once a week and so on.

Lottery was created as is for gp spend. Any suggestion broke the whole idea.

Putting stuff like limits would negate the lottery's purpose of being a GP sink.

It's not like you can't contact the winners to try to get the weapon.

They most likely won't sell it off, but you can try. Nobody's actually getting richer because of the 50% pot loss. The amount of GP wasted on almost every item produced by the lottery greatly outnumbers what the pieces of equipment are worth.

Yeah, any changes to make it more "fair" would defeat its purpose to be a GP sink.

Also, at least it puts more high quality equips into the system. I already got a legendary slaughter club that the lottery created because someone decided to sell it. Also people that win might sell off their old equips.

Basically, everyone benefits since lotteries are made to be currency sinks.
Hell, in RL, there may be times where no one wins the top prize!

The trick is that the rich aren't getting richer. They're still pumping in a lot of GP.

One thing to remember is that each ticket is less valuable than the last due to the rule that invalidates all of your tickets once you have won a single prize. This results in the chance of winning shifting as tickets are drawn.

If you buy a lot of tickets, your tickets are going to be less likely to win the cash prizes while the people with only a few are going to see them become more likely to win.

No lie the "higher rollers" just might as well have said FUCK YOU! with a big smile on there faces.
They have the GP to drop down that sinkhole and it's not a thing to them at all.
Why the people who save and save and save non stop just to get GP put it down the sink hole thinking they have the shot but the truth is They don't.

Me i am one of the people who have to save up GP or buy it than put it down the sinkhole.
After putting well over 300k just in some bids alone and not getting even a 5th place, i said fuck it after about the 4th time doing it.

Truly the lottery was just made for the God stars's and Catgirls.
The only real way to even have a shot is to some how in hell have more GP than them.

Well, when it came to the winner, about a hundred million GP poorer.

I buy 1 ticket each day. Since I get some GP as dailys, it's not hurting me too much and investing more makes no sense because I can't afford to raise the win chance to a considerable value.

If you are able and willing to spend lots of GP for the lottery you can raise the win chance but won't get richer. At least not until your prize is going to sell for a kickass price. And poor people should rather wait for an arena or IW drop. I believe the chances there are higher.
