It helps Big Data put a real identity onto any website's account names not already assigned to a a real life name. It shouldn't be outside the realm of possibility that the various big data collection companies probably look at all major forum sites for their usernames and then try to assign a real life name to each. By process of elimination, those remaining names that don't have a known real life person assigned as their owner will probably be checked in depth for any revealed items such as unique identifiers such as flexing details. Maybe even sites like mylife.com derive their "may like child porn" label from observations of someone's pseudonym being used in comments in loli galleries.
It's too bad that gallery comment privacy doesn't have yet one more layer of abstraction. For example, your forum and gallery pseudonym is known because the system needs it, but it would be nice for anonymity if the names commenting in galleries were selectable One Time Only. Thus, at the time of account creation or at the time of the account making its first ever comment in a gallery, the user is given the choice of using a different pseudonym to be seen in the gallery comments. Once set, that name cannot be changed. This would reduce the ability of big data to assign real life names to accounts.

Taxing the rich is only "good" or rational if you have a government that spends any money wisely. If the government is controlled by big pharma, supranational institutions, foreign countries, crony farmers, the banks, a prison and arms industrial complex, some "intelligence community", etc where do you think the tax money will go? For goodness sake.. Before you slap a band-aid on a broken thing by "taxing the rich" fix the goddamn thing.
