It doesn't talk about the truly dodgy part of the trial. As it was looking like he would be found not guilty the judge moved to dismiss the higher charges so the prosecution can have a crack with the lower manslaughter charges.

This just encourages prosecutors to charge people with the heaviest charges possible as they can just then keep cycling down the list mid trial.

It was funny when they advertised on social media their impossible burger was vegan and halal and then they haram'd a ton of people as only two locations in Sydney were actually vegan / halal.

Nobody ever complained about the name Kaladesh.

WotC hired consultants in 2016 to help them pick the name in a "culturally sensitive" fashion. Now, in 2024, the new consultants said, "Oh, it could mean bunnehland if you pronounce it wrong", Woketards of the Coast renamed it to Avishkar, which means "Do you wear a dick" in Albanian, real Indians are being banned from the bootlicking main MtG sub on Reddit for trying to explain why there's nothing actually wrong with the name Kaladesh, and everybody is wondering what WotC is going to rename next as the company continues to turn itself inside out to avoid imaginary racisms which only offend woke white people.

This is why WotC is dying. Kaladesh name was fine. A bit gimmicky but nobody complained.

You should have seen the stampede of sweaty commander players when I sold my Kaladesh inventions cards to the store.
