Nah the problem with the actual Russia/China and US projects are the autonomous mobile weapons platforms are very good at detecting and killing all humans but suck at making decisions when not to kill humans.

Ms Goodson is an American woman moving to Australia to pursue her professional career. A friend misinformed her that Australia recognized American gun licenses. She packed her gun in her personal luggage. She was waved through security multiple times in the US, and even Australia. She was only caught because she declared her gun as she thought it was legal, especially as she was let through security checks. She now faces serious charges for firearm smuggling.

It seems security mistook her for something else and let her through unquestioned. Australian media was saying this case was outrageous and there should be no way for this to happen until she appeared at court...





She is a native American professional clown and biological woman but security thought it was too risky to stop at the check points and let her through unchecked for some reason. TSA even noped out and let her through the x-ray checks and body scans.

Honestly I'm kinda on her side. How is it smuggling if she's let through security and even tries to declare it? Declaring what you have in your possession is the opposite of smuggling.

Sure, there's some personal responsibility to know the law, but... how many people have honestly read every law to exist? Or even just the criminal code all the way through? That's why we have professionals like airport security that are expected to know their relevant part. So she can just be told "no" and the crime never happens instead of punishing her retroactively for trying to work with the system. She would've gotten away with it if she was less thorough in filling out the paperwork. That's the system's failure, not hers.

But it is funny how easy it is to get a gun on a plane apparently. I've always been saying that airport security is nothing but a LARP to make the passengers feel safe after 9/11. Anyone could get a bomb on a plane if they tried to.

i've certainly brought items i wasn't supposed to have onto a plane before in carry-on. but they've usually been small.

And yeah i agree, if you try to declare it I'd say that's hardly smuggling.
