They are basically a woke mafia. They started their business with money they drained from an existing dev after getting the founder to commit suicide. Then they go to publishers and developers and threaten them that twitter / game journalists will use their 'whisper network' to start a controversy that will erupt about their game if they are not hired.

If the publisher uses ESG funds to save money, then the controversy could lead to key executives being forced out or the funding being cut off.

For Devs they are a nightmare as they will white ant the project unless you do exactly what they demand, and what they demand is shit tp justify their big pay. If management is onboard but the lead developers are not, then they just leak to twitter absurd stories about them being sexual predators or abusive to get them fired.

From all the devs that have talked about their side of the story, its the publisher or marketing pushing these consultants onto the team, and then being like toddlers that scream and have tantrums until they get their way. They dramatically reduce the quality of any games they are involved in. You can read about the life is strange dev dramas.
