NYC free real-estate guide for illegals:

1. Break into a house. Ideally one that is not currently occupied. There are maps/apps online to find them.
2. Get a mobile phone plan from an illegal friendly shop that does not require proper documentation.
3. Use bill as proof of tenancy to change locks.
4. If you make it to 30 days you are treated as a tenant and owner will have to take you to NYC court which takes 9-18 months. If the owner changes the locks you can get the police to arrest them.
5. If you make it to 24 months you can claim squatters rights and take ownership of the property

If you also make/get some bills showing you did improvements to the property, they will have an additional legal complication that can take 1-3 months to resolve.

Steps that really screw the owner and prove your adverse possession:
1. Have mail addressed to the property (super easy)
2. Pay the property tax (super easy)
3. Some evidence that you maintained or improved the property (super easy)

Pro-tips (I saw this online)
1. If you are a diverse illegal, then make a claim that the landlord is discriminating against you. The onus is on them to prove otherwise and NYC law made you legally a tenant after 30 days.

Apparently Putin was so busy lying, betraying and backstabbing and send all his army to the frontier against Ukraine, that he forgot he's not alone being able to play those kind of "games", and it "hit home" literally.
