Yes, but that's just the bit with fake Martha Stewart in it, there were other people in the actual commercial. I didn't even know who that was at first when I saw it on TV and immediately went online to confirm it was her. Or not her. It's as creepy as when they CGI'd dead Carrie Fisher's face in Star Wars.

And what the body actor is doing to that katana sword on the sharpening wheel. I don't know much about the care of those but I think you're supposed to use a whetstone and not grind them like that. Unless it's a deep fake sword lol.

There is so much fake shit in the ad. Voice, face. The sword may be a prop, the grinder is going too slow, so I think the sparks were after effects too. The pineapple cut is fake as well.

The large wheel is in a water bath at the bottom of the machine.

The sparks are fake. (If you somehow manage to get sparks from a whetstone you are using it incorrectly and should probably stop doing what you're doing.)

I bought one at a swap meet a few years ago.

I use it for a lot of my knife collection. I use a very fine grit linisher attached to one of my pedestal grinders for axes.

Anything of good quality bigger than a machete must be done by hand.

Yeah, also its hard to not fuck up the blade profile as its curved and the heat can mess up the heat treatment.
